Admixtionum 304 (S30400) et 304L (S30403) chalybi immaculati variationes chromii 18 centesimi – 8 centesimi nickel austenitici mixturae, notissimae et frequentissimae admixtae in familia ferro immaculata. 304/L chalybs intemerata habet egregias fabricandi proprietates. Malleabilitas eius permittit ut facile formari possit ad flagrandum, inflectendum, tortum. Bona machinabilitas et contenta sulphuris humilis optimam pactionem in applicationibus exigentibus promovet.
Altae vires, optimae corrosionis resistentia, et contenti carbonis elevati admiscent 304 et 304L Steels utiles ad applicationes ubi glutino requiritur. Usus includunt formas architectonicas et pampinatas, iuncta elementa chemicae, textilis, chartae, pharmaceuticae et chemicae instrumenti processus industriae.
Aliae commoda eius resistentia sunt oxidationis, formabilitatis excellentis, facilitatis fabricationis et purgationis, excellentiae virium ad pondus rationi et bonam duritiem in calores cryogenicos. Ambitus enim graviter mordax, inferior contentum Type 304L praefertur propter maiorem immunitatem ad corrosionem intergranularem.
Typus 304L immaculatus chalybs est extra-humilis carbonis versio 304 chalybemixtura. Inferior contentus carbo in 304L praecipitatio carbidi perniciosa vel damnosa ex glutino minuitur. 304L In gravi corrosione ambitus "sicut iuncta" adhiberi potest et necessitatem furandi aufert.
Hic gradus proprietates mechanicas paulo inferiores habet quam vexillum 304 gradus, sed adhuc late propter suam versabilitatem usus est. Sicut Type 304 immaculata chalybe, vulgo in ceruisia et vino fabricando, sed etiam ad usum laboris ultra cibum sicut in vasis chemicis, fodiendis, et constructionibus adhibetur. Est specimen ad usum in partibus metallicis sicut nuces et fulmina quae exponuntur aquae salsae.
